HIPS recycled material release plastic material development and environmental contradiction

HIPS is a better recycled plastic on the market at present. Its impact strength is very high, more than 4 times higher than that of plastic raw material abs. Its electrical insulation is also good, HIPS is easier to color, easy to print. However, the plastic material HIPS is hard and brittle, so it is easy to break and not shock, so we will use rubber modification to solve the above problems.

HIPS regeneration material of poor thermal stability, heat resistance is not very ideal. Although the impact strength is better, but its elongation is less than the plastic raw material ABS, therefore, the shell design of the screw hole is easier to be broken by self tapping screw. In order to solve the problem of shock resistance, rubber is added to optimize it, but the surface gloss of the rubber becomes dim.

Because the rubber components of plastic raw materials recycled HIPS molecules containing 5-15%, so to a certain extent affected its liquidity, injection pressure and molding temperature higher then will be better. Its cooling rate is slower than PS, so it needs adequate packing pressure, holding time and cooling in and out molding. Its molding cycle will be a little longer than PS, and its processing temperature should be kept at 190-240 DEG C at its best. A special "white" plastic raw materials in HIPS parts, by increasing the clamping force, mold temperature and packing pressure and reduce the time to improve products in the watermark clip will be more obvious.
